Overview:
A vacancy exists for a Business Analyst to join PM Group’s Finance Team. The role will provide financial management, commercial performance, and analytical support to the business and project teams. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with at least 3 years of finance experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Key role in providing commercial support to PM Project Teams.
2. Liaising closely with the project teams and addressing commercial issues to mitigate risks.
3. Reconciliation and reporting of third-party project costs on a continuous basis.
4. Ensuring that correct financial processes, strong controls, and good governance are in place.
5. Providing accurate, high-quality analysis to aid and support business decision-makers at project and operations level.
6. Working closely with the Billing team to maximise revenue & improve the Billing process.
7. Liaising with a variety of other functions, such as HR, Legal, and Tax to resolve project issues as they arise.
8. Supporting annual and client audit activities.
9. Involvement in internal projects & initiatives.
10. Driving process improvements & lean methodology.
11. Reviewing/developing documentation to support process/control standardisation and adoption across the Group.
12. Performing a variety of other finance ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with at least 3 years of finance experience.
2. Proven track record of providing commercial support to Operations.
3. Demonstrated experience of implementing, improving, and documenting existing processes and controls.
4. Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong business relationships.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft applications particularly Excel is a prerequisite and experience of other tools such as Power BI and Alteryx is highly desirable.
6. Experienced ERP user. Previous experience of Agresso Business World would be an advantage.
7. A proactive attitude.
