Responsibilities
* Data entry, supplier queries, monthly creditor reconciliations, monthly payment run, supplier remittance.
* Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) - registering contracts & payments with ROS. Filing monthly/quarterly RCT returns with ROS.
* Assisting with all accounting duties as necessary.
Skills and Experience
* Must have a minimum of 2 years' relevant accounts payable experience.
* RCT experience preferable but not essential.
* Good attention to detail with an emphasis on quality output.
* Knowledge of an accounts package is advantageous, in particular SAGE.
* Good communication and people skills.
* Work well in a team but be able to work on own initiative when required.
* Providing support and assistance with all administrative tasks related to the accounts department.
* Strong organisational skills required to meet deadlines.
* Previous experience in a construction/engineering industry.
