About the Team & Business Line

Responsibilities
As Vice President – Hedge Fund Accounting, your role will include:
1. Providing training and supervision to team members.
2. Planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client relationships within your account.
3. Liaising with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
4. Acting as the primary contact with clients and other fund participants.
5. Maintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, auditors, and other stakeholders.
6. Developing and maintaining targets concerning staffing, production, overtime budgeting, and productivity.
7. Ensuring all staff are appropriately trained and conducting performance evaluations.
8. Meeting expectations of fund participants and adhering to deadlines.
9. Assisting auditors and other fund participants and advisers.
10. Participating in presentations to existing and prospective clients.
11. Leading and contributing to projects that support business expansion and evolution.
12. Engaging in managerial functions in conjunction with the Managing Director.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A degree qualification and preferably an accounting certification.
2. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in hedge fund accounting.
3. A strong interest in financial markets and the hedge fund industry.
4. Extensive technical knowledge of hedge fund accounting.
5. Proven leadership and managerial experience.
6. Strong risk management knowledge.
