The successful candidate will lead, drive and enhance a wide range of HR initiatives with the main objective of fostering an evolving culture, driving employee engagement and enhancing our employee experience to create an environment where employees are able to thrive. You will be able to work with your stakeholders and colleagues to continuously improve HR processes and how the site and function connects to our teams. This is a critical role with responsibility for developing and implementing change initiatives using proven HR skills to help our managers achieve individual, team and business objectives successfully. You will contribute to increasing organizational effectiveness, identifying and addressing people-related risks, and building a culture of leadership which is pioneering and empowering.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Alignment: Assist in delivering the strategic business and people agenda and ensure successful commitment and delivery is mapped out through creating individual, team and business objectives.Behavioural Leadership: Proactively manage key behaviours such as collaboration, transparency, ownership and accountability, and continuous improvement. Represent: Be the HR Business Partner to our Machining and Grits Operations Committee (OpCo) which will enable you to support and influence on people matters at the heart of one of our business streams.QualificationsEducation: Degree or equivalent is preferred. Masters in HRM or equivalent discipline is advantageous.Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR management role is required. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Knowledge of project management and budgetary concepts would be advantageous.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and make decisions under pressure. Comfortable leading change.Customer Centric: Provides clarity and responsiveness to customers and partners (internal and external). Understands the customers underlying needs and problems. Excellent communication and presentation skills.Leadership: Self-motivated, comfortable and experienced taking on responsibility. Understands that no one can see the complete picture and values perspectives from across the business.Job related skillsExperience leading a small HR Team within a large facility, ideally a manufacturing environment.Experience of implementing Leadership Development and Culture change.Experience working as part of a Senior Management Team delivering business strategy.Involvement in continuous improvement and digitalization projects.Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis and development, conflict management and employee relations, performance management, national and local employment laws, and change management.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and changing demand while delivering value-added and timely HR services to employees and management using developed facilitation, influencing and conflict resolution skills.An instinct for understanding the wider business is important, as a driver of proactively understanding the business environment and its impact on how people are led, managed and developed.Ideally candidates will have an affinity for coaching and developing people with a track record of seeing and responding to this as a continuous and progressive process.Ability to analyse and process large volumes of information, with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.A pragmatic and willing HR leader who can own the HR agenda at their local site and support and champion our global people strategy.Additional InformationRight to workAll applicants must be able to provide documentation verifying their eligibility to work in Ireland.
