Reports to the CJK Project Manager, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
Duties
The role will primarily involve instrument calibration; installation, loop checking, maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding of customer control systems.
* Perform calibrations, troubleshooting, installation, loop testing, commissioning, and repair of our clients' instrumentation systems, including completing all required test pack documentation such as Specification Check Sheets, Calibration Certificates, Loop Check Sheets, and Red Lined Documents.
* Equipment worked on will include, but is not limited to, standard measurement parameters such as Temperature (TI)(TA), Level (LA)(LLA), Flow (FS)(FI), Pressure (PIT), and Humidity (HI).
* Calibration and service work including OAT process to prove control of the system.
* Use your own initiative to correct any errors or faults with the instrument being calibrated and suggest ideas to the management team to resolve any issues.
* Complete all safety requirements to perform the job safely, including method statements and any relevant training required.
* Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation. Be able to diagnose any system fault.
* Consult with and advise process operators.
* Read and redline system P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, Single Line Diagrams, etc.
* Liaise with the project/maintenance team & prepare reports.
Previous Experience / Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience post Electrical Trades qualification.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work on their own initiative.
* Knowledge of Tender Documents and determining the scope of works.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good computer/PC skills.
Desirable
* Degree/Diploma level course such as Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation.
* Experienced background of working in Industrial E&I construction projects.
* Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences project-oriented.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full-time position.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Position based on South & West Dublin Site.
Working time: 45 hours per week (39 hours basic, with some overtime required to meet schedule/programme deliverables, as required).
