The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Customer Service / Sales Specialist to drive outbound lead generation and manage inbound customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person at our trade desk. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in ensuring a smooth sales process, meeting customer needs, and spotting opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, even without prior expertise in lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Regularly interact with clients to assess satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
* Lead Generation: Independently generate and nurture sales leads to drive business growth and meet company objectives.
* Customer Inquiries: Handle inbound customer inquiries, offering comprehensive product information and exceptional service.
* Order Processing: Process orders efficiently, provide accurate quotes, and follow up to convert quotes into sales.
* Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify and seize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling during customer interactions.
* Order Management: Keep customers updated on the status of their orders and manage their expectations effectively.
* Collaboration: Work with the workshop team as needed to ensure timely order fulfillment and dispatch.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and communications using CRM software.
The Person:
* Education: University degree in Engineering or Business.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in inside sales, sales development, or customer service, preferably in a related industry.
* Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to enhance customer experiences and manage sales administration effectively.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
* Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
