We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals in Kildare. As a key member of our site operations, you will play a vital role in managing on-site construction activities for residential projects.

Your primary focus will be on setting out activities, ensuring accurate positioning of structural components and monitoring the quality of works. You will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting architectural and engineering plans, translating them into precise on-site measurements and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform accurate setting out and leveling of works on-site using survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, laser levels).

2. Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out according to project schedule, design drawings and safety regulations.

3. Manage and coordinate subcontractors on-site, addressing technical issues that arise.
">
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets required standards of accuracy and quality.
">
5. Ensure construction activities are conducted in line with Health & Safety policies.
">
6. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports on work completed, material usage and any issues encountered.

7. Prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation as required by project management team.
">
8. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success.
">
9. Identify, assess and resolve technical and construction issues swiftly to minimize delays in project progress.

Requirements:

10. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
">
11. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Site Engineer role, with significant experience in setting out and using surveying equipment.

12. Familiarity with CAD software and construction project management tools is advantageous.
">
13. Strong understanding of residential construction processes, local building regulations and Health & Safety requirements.

14. Full, clean driving license is required.
