Dublin Bus is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Planner/Technical Trainer, based in Dublin. What You'll Do Provide Technical Training for employees in the Technical Training Centre & on location in depots. Provide Technical support & Training for employees for all vehicle types. Provide preventative maintenance procedures to ensure vehicle safety, reliability and high standards of comfort and appearance at affordable costs. Work as part of the overall team in the Technical Office. Responsible for training delivery in addition to the Technical Trainer as scheduled by Technical Training Supervisor. Responsible for (but not restricted to) specific duties assigned by Technical Office Manager and Chief Engineer. Ensure compliance with all relevant Data Protection legislation. Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Energy, Sustainability, Health and Safety policies and procedures Foster good relationships with employees and relevant personnel in own area of responsibility, with Trade Unions, other departments of Dublin Bus and CI Group of Companies and with relevant external agencies and stakeholders. What Were Looking For Recognised QQI Level 6 Craftworker qualification is essential Ability to coach and train employees Knowledge of on bus systems/equipment and ability to explain how they operate Understanding of the Main Vehicle Mechanical Systems Knowledge of the Operations Systems/chassis systems and bodywork systems IT Knowledge/Test Equipment /Fault Finding Knowledge of the use of vehicle manufacturers technical information systems Knowledge of Microsoft packages Word, Excel & Powerpoint Knowledge of Dublin Bus fleet Excellent PC skills and ability to accurately process data, Why Join Us?
