MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Point of Sale/Product Fitter to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the assembly, stock control, and distribution of all Point of Sale (POS) and display materials.
This includes ensuring displays are maintained, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and all POS materials are available across warehouses for quick deployment.
Additionally, the role supports showroom fit-outs and ensures a seamless customer experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
* POS Management:
o Maintain and manage POS stock levels across all warehouses.
o Ensure all POS items are correctly barcoded and ready for dispatch.
o Support the Area Sales Managers for picking boot stock POS orders.
o Support the processing, building, and distribution of any new POS for new product launches.
o Control sample POS, including wood/colour samples and brassware on plinths.
* Display Boards:
o Assemble and manage all display boards to ensure quick turnaround times.
o Maintain a run order book and process works orders for display boards.
o Pick works orders for display boards and book items into main stock.
o Pick and prepare display orders for fitting, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
* Display Orders:
o Pick and check display orders for fitting and label as display by bay number.
o Ensure any POS ordered, are included.
o Pick orders for Show van fitouts.
o Assist with the fit out of Show vans and any remedials work required.
o Complete remedial showroom fitouts/maintenance of displays.
* Logistics & Coordination:
o Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth execution of all display and POS related activities.
o Work closely with the Retail Marketing Coordinator to align the POS strategy with customer needs.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience in a similar role or relevant hands-on experience in construction, joinery, plumbing, or DIY.
* Experience of manual handling & working with hand tools.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Proficient in IT including MS Office Packages (Training will be provided).
* Good time keeping and attendance record.
* Ability to work well in a team, as well as using own initiative.
* Be willing to follow all health and safety guidelines.
* Be willing to undergo any internal/external training that may be required.
* Full Driving Licence.
