Red Chair Recruitment are currently recruiting for a B2B Sales Representative on behalf of one of our clients, a leading hardware and building supplies company. This is a field-based role covering County Kerry, with a focus on developing strong business relationships and expanding the company’s client base across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting builders, contractors, and businesses, both existing and potential, to promote and sell the company’s wide range of hardware and building materials. This is a customer-facing, on-the-road role, ideal for someone with a passion for sales, relationship-building, and a solid understanding of the construction or hardware industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage with potential clients, including builders, contractors, and local businesses.
* Promote the company’s full range of hardware and building products.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
* Provide tailored product recommendations and quotes based on client needs.
* Report on sales activity and market trends to management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally within the hardware, construction, or building materials sector.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building relationships.
* Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently on the road.
* Good knowledge of hardware/building supplies is highly advantageous.
* Full clean driving licence required.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
