The role will involve the management of a portfolio of clients across a number of business sectors. Reporting to the Practice Manager and the Directors, the role will offer the successful candidate exposure to a variety of assignments working on small to medium sized companies and sole traders.
The role will include:
* Management of portfolio of clients
* Preparation of financial statements for companies and individuals, to completion
* Personal, corporate and capital tax returns
* Monthly management accounts
* Small/medium company audits
* Company secretarial compliance
* Willing to oversee and coach trainees if necessary
* Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
* Excellent attention to detail and with an ability to use initiative and always maintain confidentiality
* To be a problem solver and have a ‘can do’ attitude
The Person
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years practice experience
* Finalist or recently qualified
* Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook
* Experience in using accounting programs including Relate/Surf
