Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging: Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and researching in the field of ultrasound imaging, with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography or nursing, as well as experience in ultrasound scanning.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound is required, with experience in fertility ultrasound being desirable.
This is a permanent position within the UCD School of Medicine, and the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach and assess students in the field of ultrasound imaging
* Conduct research in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound
* Develop and implement curriculum content
* Provide clinical supervision to students
Requirements
* State registration as a midwife, radiographer or nurse
* Completed MSc in ultrasound or equivalent
* At least 2 years' experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound
* Experience in fertility ultrasound (desirable)
