Job Description: As a Strategic Advisors Technology Chapter Leader, you blend deep Engineering solutions and practices with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates.

In an agile structure you will collaborate with other leaders to establish the standards for your chapter, influence the strategic decisions and build solutions with your expertise.
You will directly manage a team of chapter members who primarily work within autonomous squads across a product area, but report directly to you.
You are dedicated to helping them grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the "how" of the work they perform.
You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.
Location: Galway - Hybrid - one week a month onsite
The Team You work in partnership with Squad Leaders and other Chapter Leaders aligned to the Model Management Product Area.

The team partners with the investment teams in Strategic Advisors on various projects including model construction, portfolio construction and trading Managed Accounts.
We create high quality, robust, and efficient high-responsive solutions that are used to enhance Strategic Advisors productivity and decision-making processes.
The Expertise You Have Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g.
Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
required.
This role requires 10+ years of proven technology leadership experience in designing and building highly scalable software solutions.
Expertise in Engineering methodologies in at least one tier of the stack and strong awareness and appreciation in the other tiers.
Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams.
Experience identifying and acquiring talent needs; and resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations.
Financial services experience, preferred but not required.
The Skills You Bring Oversight of design, implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise systems utilizing Amazon Web Services.
Proficiency with distributed platforms with a solid understanding of non-functional requirements, crucial for developing robust applications.
Facilitate technical mentorship for your team in terms of PL/SQL, Java Webservice & JavaScript development.
Familiarity with frameworks like SpringBoot, Angular and knowledge of Messaging technologies like Kafka is desirable.
Promotes practices and capability development across the squad in areas such as Quality, Automation, DevOps, CI/CD, Design, and Code Reviews.
Oversees the management of the technology backlog for the platform, collaborating closely with other Chapter leads to ensure team is meeting Technology Lifecycle Management KPIs.
Collaboration with a diverse, global team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
