What is the opportunityThis is a technically challenging role.
You will be part of an Environment Build/Support team supporting multiple projects and DevOps teams who build Bank of Ireland test environments for most major projects so that they are built consistently, integrated with BoI's CI/CD pipelines and use BoI's strategic set of dev/build/test/deploy strategic toolset: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins.
An in-depth Control/M V8 and V9 administration and automation including Workload Change Manager is an absolute requirement.
You will get the opportunity to work on many different, multi-tier architecture, enterprise applications including technologies like Websphere MQ, Broker, WAS, JBosests, Connect Direct, Sterling File Gateway, Tomcat etc.
on both on premises and on Cloud across multiple O/S platforms: RHEL, Windows, Solaris, and AIX.
In this role you will:Administer multiple Control/M instancesSupport/Train projects in the use of Control/MEnable auto-generation of Control schedules/jobs in test for projects using Control/M tooling and standards (i.e.
using WCM rules)Work with Dev/Ops teamsFamiliarity with O/S, database and middleware products like RHEL, Windows, JBOSS, MQ, Connect:Direct, WAS, Sterling File Gateway, SQL Server etc.What will make you stand out?You have demonstrable ability to derive clarity from ambiguity, and direct teams to deliver effective solutions.

More about the teamEnvironment Management Service (EMS) is a central team that builds/supports test environments for many change projects in BoI.
We are made up of 3 sub-teams: Tool Management, Data Management and Environment build teams.
We are a technical operational team and aim to automate our operations using DevSecOps methodologies wherever possible.
Our focus is to implement solution designs on both on-premises and on Cloud platforms efficiently while permitting change delivery now and in the future.
