As an EHS Engineer with Solventum, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Project Management: Initiates and completes activities leading to new/improved safety methods which have significant impact potential at project level within the assigned area of responsibility.
* Communication: Developing a network of support (within facilities, manufacturing, engineering, warehousing teams) to facilitate completion of assignments.
* Analysis and reporting of key health & safety data to senior level co-workers.
* Collaborating with management to define project parameters and develop correction plans.
* Leadership: Leading all activities relating to Risk Management by managing the site risk assessment schedule and driving continuous improvement to reduce risks on site.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have strong background experience and/or the following qualifications:
* EHS Degree / NEBOSH General Certificate preferred or similar Safety qualification.
* Strong understanding and implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is essential.
* Engineering skills / qualifications is an advantage.
* Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience with innovative occupational health, wellbeing and behavioural programme's such as Mental Health First Aid is an advantage.
We are seeking candidates with at least 2 - 3 years' experience, ideally working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment.
A high level of interpersonal skills is required for this position.
Work Details
This is a Hybrid work arrangement, with requirements to be onsite for induction period, and in line with the business's needs.
The work location is Athlone, Ireland.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
