The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, the ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the accuracy of structures in accordance with design drawings and specifications at every level during the build process on-site.
The Site Engineer will work to ensure company procedures are implemented to ensure the successful completion of the project on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities These include but are not limited to:
Ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to and that safety protocols on-site are of the highest possible standard.Being fully familiar with all drawings, specifications, and the programme of work, ensuring all calculations are accurate.Certifying the transferral of design information from relevant drawings to the site.Ensuring that professional setting out for trades and subcontractors is carried out.Carrying out as-built surveys with processing.Carrying out valuation surveys and processing, commencing surveys and processing figures according to QS requests and site conditions.Controlling and caring for all surveying equipment and instruments, keeping the calibration register up to date.Disseminating information from drawings, specifications, etc.
to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors, ensuring they clearly understand what is required.Ensuring work performed and materials used are in full compliance with drawings and specifications.Ensuring post pours/works are carried out to the highest level as required for the project.Completing and managing all appropriate quality documentation (check sheets, as-built drawings, etc.)
to the highest standard, ensuring archiving is completed correctly.Scheduling steel reinforcement and other materials requisitions as required.Assisting in the requisitioning of plant and the control of equipment on-site.Ensuring daily records are kept and uploaded to relevant project management software.Advising on submittals and researching alternative options where possible.Key Skills & Experience A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management or similar.Valid Safe Pass.2 years' experience in a similar role is desirable.Strong setting out experience.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.Strong understanding of the key elements of engineering work; site-setting out, day-to-day surveys, as-built drawings, etc.Proficient in the use of Topcon.Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.Good knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong communication skills (both written and oral).Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet challenging work goals.Ability to take initiative and work both individually and as a strong team player.Company Benefits Full-time/permanent employment.Company pension.Employee Assistance Programme.Professional development & training opportunities.Great working conditions with a progressive company.This job description is intended to cover the minimum duties and responsibilities required for this role.
