We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in red meat production to fill the role of Plant Manager at our company.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities, ensuring efficiency and on-time delivery. This includes maintaining and updating the site's HACCP plan, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring all product specifications are met to the highest quality standards.
In addition, the Plant Manager will be required to develop and implement strategies to optimise production and improve yields, as well as communicate with customers regarding their specifications and ensure production aligns with their needs.

Requirements:
* Experience in Red Meat Production: Minimum of 5 years in the food manufacturing sector, with specific experience in slaughterlines, boning halls, and deboning beef and lamb.
* Industry Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with BRC standards, Bord Bia MPQAS, and audits is advantageous.
* HACCP Certification: A valid HACCP qualification or training is required.
* Leadership & Multitasking: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with staff, customers, and management effectively.
