The Salthill Hotel seeks a Breakfast Chef to collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for smooth breakfast service operations daily.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen in line with Food Hygiene Regulations and ensure high-quality food preparation and production for customer satisfaction.
* Report on time, dressed correctly, and prepared for duty.
* Prepare and produce food according to agreed standards in conjunction with other chefs.
* Ensure efficient operation of the breakfast service daily.
* Consistently monitor waste and recommend counter measures to minimize it.
* Work consistently to the highest standards of food preparation.
* Foster excellent relationships within and outside the direct kitchen team.
* Minimize wastage at all times.
* Adhere strictly to hygiene regulations and observe them diligently.
* Carry out our Customer Relations Policy.
* Evaluate guests' needs and preferences.
* Maintain personal hygiene at a high standard.
* Take reasonable care for health and safety of yourself, colleagues, guests, and others on premises.
* Participate in fire drills and report incidents promptly.
* Maintain a high level of personal hygiene throughout the shift.
* Awareness and compliance with company policies: Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Customer Care & Security.
* Read, understand, and comply with responsibilities outlined in the Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.
* Attend training courses as notified by management.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in a busy kitchen environment.
* Excellent timekeeping skills and awareness of responsibility for opening the kitchen each morning.
* Attention to detail for presentation of buffets and plated dishes.
* Positive attitude and flexibility.
* Prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Experience with Stock Control Procedures.
* Fluency in English language.
* Ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively.
