Job Title: Logistics and Warehouse Manager
This is a permanent role for our client, a Wholesale Food Distribution Company based in Limerick. The successful candidate will lead a team of circa 100 colleagues across warehouse management, inbound and outbound teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* General management and leadership of section managers, team leaders and colleagues across all logistics activities.
* Ensuring Inbound, Outbound and Inventory Managers are utilizing and developing robust teams to achieve consistent long-term growth.
* Maintaining optimal warehouse layout and stock integrity through constant monitoring and evaluation of available data.
* Identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives for continuous improvements in ways of working, quality, consistency and effectiveness of process.
* Cultivating an inclusive and collaborative culture where the role of each team member in contributing to organisational goals is understood.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in a relevant management role in a high volume, technology-driven, time-sensitive operation.
* Experience within FMCG industry is advantageous.
* A willingness to examine and challenge the status quo and break down silos where necessary with fact-based arguments.
* A confident and consistent communicator who can adapt their style to ensure the message is understood regardless of the audience.
* A highly analytical and technologically proficient individual with the ability to interpret often ambiguous data and make timely decisions.
* An extremely organized and comfortable operating in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* The ability to delegate effectively and constructively challenge for the right result.
