Cloud Data Centre Architect Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative Cloud Data Center Architect to design and implement advanced technical solutions for our client's data centre infrastructure.
You will lead the architecture for critical systems such as power supply and cooling, ensuring the infrastructure's reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
In this role, you will drive continuous improvement by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and solutions to enhance the performance and cost competitiveness of our data centres, especially as they evolve in the AI-driven cloud era.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design robust and scalable architecture solutions for data centre infrastructure, focusing on critical systems like power supply and cooling. Steer the long-term evolution of infrastructure to maintain a competitive edge.
* Stay ahead of emerging trends in data centre architecture, particularly in the AI-driven cloud era, by researching industry best practices from leading cloud vendors.
* Drive innovation in data centre infrastructure by implementing new technologies to improve power supply and cooling system reliability. Focus on reducing energy consumption, optimizing Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and enhancing cost competitiveness.
* Explore and implement sustainable energy solutions, including energy storage, energy recovery, and green, low-carbon energy systems. Address the challenges of large-scale AI data energy demands through innovative, scalable solutions.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in data centre infrastructure design, particularly in power supply and cooling systems.
* Strong understanding of AI-driven cloud architecture trends and innovations in energy efficiency.
* Proven track record of driving cost-effective, energy-efficient solutions for large-scale data centres.
* Experience with energy storage, renewable energy, and sustainable technologies is a plus.
