Description
To carry out accounts and administration activities associated with the Organics Division to include sales invoicing, managing of accruals and credit notes, preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed for the management team as well as assisting in the preparation of month end accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling customer queries
* Preparation of daily sales reports
* Prepare and review credit notes and deal with accounts queries
* Record and account for accruals where applicable for Organics - this must be kept up to date daily
* Prepare all information for month end accounts in a timely and efficient manner, as per Enva internal and Group deadlines/ timelines
* Assist in the daily operations and planning and arranging of works and ongoing projects in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible, according to business/ customer needs and in conjunction with the Operations Manager
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting the business as necessary
* Preparation of new accounts for both new customers and new suppliers
* Participation in ad hoc finance projects as required
* Data management including data input and updating and upkeep of all excel documentation
* Suggest & implement improvements to increase the efficiency of the department
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 1 – 2 years' experience as an account assistant
* Excellent computer literacy.
* Must be proficient in Excel
* Previous experience of sales/purchase invoicing and purchase order systems
* Must be proficient in delivering excellent customer care with strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position will suit someone who has 1 – 2 years' experience of working in a fast-paced accountancy department, used to handling volume of work with an ability to work methodically through problems with excellent attention to detail, while prioritising and juggling between tasks.
