Electronics Engineer – Medical Device Industry We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electronics Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team working on innovative medical technologies.
This role focuses on the design and development of hardware systems incorporating wireless communication, neuromodulation, and physiological sensing, while also supporting validation, manufacturing, and product lifecycle activities.
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:Collaborate with the Product Development team to design, build, and test current and next-generation medical devices.
Support all phases of product development, from concept through to post-production.
Participate in circuit prototyping and manage relationships with prototyping service providers.
Contribute to validation testing including EMC, wireless coexistence, safety, reliability, and performance.
Facilitate design transfer by working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.
Provide technical support to manufacturing to optimize production processes and ensure efficiency.
Design, develop, and validate custom PCBA test equipment for internal product testing.
Investigate hardware failures from the field and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Conduct design work using CAD tools such as Altium, SPICE, and MATLAB.Solve engineering challenges using sound principles—from basic concepts to complex problem-solving.
Job RequirementsDegree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or a related discipline).Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical device industry (or other highly regulated sectors) in a product development or manufacturing role.
Core Skills & Competencies:
Strong foundation in digital and low-noise analog circuit design.
Proficiency in embedded systems development, including C/C++ programming and interfacing with microcontrollers (e.g., Bluetooth, UART).Experience working with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors, with an understanding of IPC standards.
Familiarity with CAD tools and simulation software (e.g., Altium, SPICE, MATLAB).Understanding of quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001, 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR).Demonstrated ability to develop and validate test methods.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical thinking and multitasking abilities.
Ability to clearly present technical ideas across all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of risk management practices (e.g., FMEA, ISO Experience with Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
Experience in medical devices, electro-acoustic systems, or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of EMC compliance and testing (e.g., FCC, Radio Equipment Directive).Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 60950, IEC Experience applying statistical methods and tools such as R, STATA, or MATLAB.Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
Strong attention to detail, quality-driven mindset, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
