We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Buyer to join our growing Procurement team in Apleona Head Office.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Category Manager to source highest quality products and services at the best price.
2. Assist in the preparation and issuing of tenders and Framework tenders as required.
3. Purchase in line with set processes and use the organisation's purchasing system.
4. Manage supplier performance to ensure quality and service requirements are met.
5. Operating the Request for quotation process for On demand purchasing.
6. Maintain Procurement catalogues and deal with internal customer queries.
7. Manage any invoice verification with regard to price.
Qualifications and Experience
8. Degree in Procurement or Business related Discipline.
9. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
10. Ability to meet customer requirements continuously.
11. An ability to deal with customers and vendors in a professional manner.
Working Pattern
09:00-17.30 Monday to Friday.
