About the Job: The Project Manager will work across FoodCloud teams on a small number of substantive projects within our innovation, advocacy and education pillars, managing budgets, while also ensuring that key activities and tasks are prioritised and actioned in a timely manner.
The Project Manager will support internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are designed, developed, and delivered on time and within budget.
Developing, maintaining, reviewing and communicating project plans and related progress are core aspects of the role.
This will involve leading project review meetings and working in close partnership with key internal and external teams to plan and deliver project initiatives that are practical and have positive and lasting impact.
Key Duties: Design and deliver well-managed, successfully executed projects delivering project milestones on time and within budget.Deliver solutions within project constraints.Identify and monitor inter-connected initiatives across projects.Assign and have oversight of the daily tasks of teams while ensuring that everyone involved is working toward established milestones.Facilitate communication and negotiation across relevant stakeholder teams.Drive and manage risk assessment and risk management.Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for Project team members within the project.Define project realistic timelines based on funding and life of the project.Work with relevant stakeholder groups to identify issues and understand and coordinate their management and resolution where appropriate.Work cross functionally to schedule work to ensure efficient and smooth projects.Understand, monitor and review requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.Maintain project schedules and report project status.Procure and organise third party tenders for services when needed.Complete and submit all financial and non-financial reporting to funding bodies in line with the reporting timeframe and funding drawdown requirements.Prepare internal project reporting and ensure good internal communications.Represent FoodCloud at key events, which could include national and international travel.Additional duties that may be reasonably required within the remit of this position.Skills and Experience: 2+ years' experience in a project management role.Professional, accredited project management certification preferred.Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies and methods.Outstanding written, oral, and client-facing communication skills.Experience in community engagement and stakeholder management.Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.Calm and level headed with the ability to predict challenges and proactively resolve obstacles before they arise.Experience in strategic planning and risk management.Proven experience in community and sustainable development.Demonstrable interest in community climate action, food systems and the problem of food waste.Proficient in the use of IT and programmes including Google (Docs, Sheets & Slides), ProofHub (or similar project management tools).The role will be based in our Tallaght head office and require 2-3 days in the office.We are a fast growing organisation with big ambitions – there will be plenty of opportunity to grow and develop professionally in this role through training and experience.Pension contribution: matching up to 5% of an employee's salary.24 days annual leave, Tax Saver, Bike to Work Scheme, discounted gym membership and more.Company income protection policy in place.If this sounds like your ideal role, we would like to hear from you.
