At Safe Harbour Security, we're on the lookout for a Sales Development Representative to drive our growth during a major expansion phase. Key Responsibilities:
* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients who may benefit from our cybersecurity services. Utilise LinkedIn, email campaigns and cold calling to generate interest. Qualify leads based on company size, industry and security needs.
* Outreach & Engagement: Contact decision-makers such as CTOs, CISOs, and Compliance Officers to introduce our services. Craft personalised outreach messages that highlight the value of services like virtual CISO, virtual DPO, ISO 27001 consulting, and Penetration Testing. Follow up with leads via email, phone, and social media to nurture relationships.
* Lead Qualification: Assess the security challenges and compliance needs of prospective clients. Identify budget, timeline, and decision-making authority. Book discovery calls or demos with senior sales representatives or consultants.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in a CRM system. Track progress of prospects through the sales funnel. Ensure timely follow-ups and keep leads engaged.
* Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Team: Work closely with account executives to hand over qualified leads. Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns. Suggest improvements based on customer responses and objections. Help with social media content.
Industry & Product Knowledge Development:
* Stay up to date on cyber security trends, regulations, and threats. Gain a solid understanding of services offered (e.g., virtual CISO, virtual DPO, ISO 27001 certification support, penetration testing). Attend industry events, webinars, and training sessions.
Reporting & Performance Analysis:
* Track KPIs such as outreach attempts, conversion rates, and meetings booked. Analyse successful outreach strategies and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.
Requirements:

* Communication Skills: You can convey complex ideas simply, differentiating our services in a crowded market.
* Curiosity & Learning: An eagerness to learn more about cybersecurity and data protection, with the ability to engage in conversations with IT decision-makers like CTOs, CIOs, and IT Managers.
* Tech-Savvy: Proven experience in previous sales development role would be advantageous. You don't need to be an expert, but you must be comfortable discussing the value of our technical services and solutions. Basic understanding of cyber security concepts, compliance frameworks and risk management.
* Experience in sales, lead generation or business development (even in other industries). Marketing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use CRM tools.
