Enet is Ireland’s largest, open access network provider, building and operating the largest alternative wholesale telecoms network in Ireland.
As the HSQE & Facilities Coordinator at Enet you will develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with legislation and industry standards. You will also coordinate and be responsible for the maintenance of air conditioning, lighting, fire safety, building security and lease agreements. This is a newly-created role with a broad remit: no two days will be the same and you will have plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in our Limerick office (Tuesday and Wednesday). This role reports to the Director of Customer Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that the company’s safety statement, EHS plans, RAMS and supporting documentation is up to date, compliant and reviewed annually in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
Maintain the yearly retention of our ISO accreditations, work towards gaining further accreditations in EHS.
Oversee and coordinate facilities maintenance including air conditioning, PAT testing, lighting systems, lifts, intruder alarm and security systems.
Supervise the cleaning contract including specification adherence and special request handling.
Plan and manage space utilisation including furniture arrangement and maintenance in the office building.
Liaise with Landlord regarding facilities related matters and oversee lease agreements.
Oversee general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, lighting and waste management.
Coordinate pest control and manage waste disposal procedures.
Administer contracts with all contractors and ensure compliance with service agreements.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or environment.
Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
2+ Years experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess potential risks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various work sites as needed.
Manual Handling Instructors Course (or willingness to undertake).
