Career Opportunity: Registered/Chartered Building Surveyor - Cork
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered/Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team at Get House Survey.ie in Cork.
About the Role:
* Conduct Pre-Purchase Residential Building Surveys throughout Cork and surrounding counties.
* Deliver high-quality surveys that enable customers to buy with confidence.
* Work independently, conducting 8-10 surveys per week, while having control over your own schedule.
* Manage your workload, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and providing clear written communication to customers.
* Collaborate with colleagues as part of a team, supporting and mentoring each other as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel throughout Cork and surrounding counties for residential building surveys.
* Complete surveys to the highest standard, ensuring customers receive comprehensive reports.
* Handle customer queries on reports in a timely manner, responding to banks, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Develop strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in residential surveys.
* Registration with SCSI (Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland) is essential.
* Strong understanding of professional and project-based building surveying matters.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A full clean driving license and use of a company vehicle.
