We are seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to join our Client's dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile pharmaceutical projects while working with cutting-edge materials and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design Expertise: Lead and provide mechanical design input, focusing on stainless steel systems and components for pharmaceutical facilities.
* Project Management: Oversee mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, electrical engineers, and external stakeholders, to develop tailored solutions.
* Client Interaction: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, translating their requirements into effective engineering designs.
* Compliance: Ensure all designs and implementations comply with regulatory standards, health and safety protocols, and best practices within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Problem Solving: Analyze technical challenges and deliver innovative and efficient solutions.
* Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 6–9 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
* Strong expertise in stainless steel design and fabrication, with a focus on process systems.
* Proven ability to manage projects of varying complexity from start to finish.
* Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
* Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with cleanroom or GMP environments.
* Familiarity with pressure vessels, piping systems, and process equipment design.
* Previous experience in client-facing roles.
