We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our clinets team in Dublin and support the efficiency of our production facility.
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of their coffee production facility.
Your key role will involve performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
This position requires hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a proactive approach to preventing equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs of production equipment used in coffee manufacturing.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automated system issues.
Maintain and repair machinery such as conveyors, motors, and packaging systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal efficiency.
Document maintenance procedures, repairs, and parts usage.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements.
Provide technical support during emergency repairs and production shifts.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally within the FMCG or food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLCs, industrial automation, and fault diagnostics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and overtime if required.
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
