Job Title: Quality Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our forward-thinking engineering firm. The successful candidate will take ownership of our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and 45001 while fostering a culture of operational excellence.
The Role:
You will work closely with teams across all departments to uphold high safety standards, enhance quality processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help prevent risks, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality & Compliance Management:
o Maintain and improve our ISO 9001 and 45001 certified Quality Management System (QMS).
o Manage and prepare for internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.
o Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
* Incident Investigation & Risk Prevention:
o Investigate accidents, incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
o Implement corrective and preventive actions, addressing root causes effectively.
o Monitor outcomes to ensure long-term improvements and risk mitigation.
* Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
o Analyse quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
o Produce performance reports and present findings to senior management.
* Collaboration & Leadership:
o Partner with production, design, and management teams to align on SHEQ objectives.
o Provide training and guidance to employees on SHEQ policies and best practices.
o Act as the primary contact for SHEQ matters with customers and suppliers.
* Driving Continuous Improvement:
o Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
o Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability at all levels of the organisation.
What We Are Looking For:
* Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* Experience in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 45001 standards.
* A proactive problem solver with expertise in root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools.
