Clerical Officer (Grade III) Mayo
Our client, a public sector body, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clerical Officer to contribute to essential administrative functions. This Grade III position offers an excellent opportunity for a temporary contract of 3-6 months with the potential for further work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
* Prepare, process, and track assessments according to team requirements, meeting timelines and standards.
* Pollinate, maintain, and update databases and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with relevant policies.
* Efficiently manage filing systems, maintaining both physical and electronic files, organized and up-to-date.
* Handle general office inquiries, respond to emails, and liaise with team members as needed.
* Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, processing forms, and supporting ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Demonstrated ability to use and maintain filing systems, ensuring documents are properly stored and retrievable.
* Exceptional attention to detail, completing tasks accurately and maintaining error-free records.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting with staff at all levels professionally.
