Corporate Partnerships Development Executive
The Corporate Partnerships Development Executive will assist the execution of a corporate fundraising strategy.
Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Development Executive
Department: Fundraising
Reports to: Corporate Partnerships Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: National Headquarters and Training Centre, Model Farm Road, Cork
Contract Term: 12-month fixed term
Purpose of Role: The Corporate Partnerships Development Executive will assist the execution of a corporate fundraising strategy to secure financial and in-kind support from corporate partners. The role involves identifying new corporate prospects, maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, and ensuring fundraising targets are met through innovative and strategic approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of Targets:
* Help build, develop and maintain the organisation’s corporate strategy
* Deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual income targets for assigned portfolio
* Secure new corporate partnerships
* Achieve set financial targets from corporate partnerships
* Increase corporate renewal rate within assigned accounts by 20% year-on-year
* Grow overall corporate fundraising income by 20% annually
* Track and report on progress towards meeting SMART targets on a monthly/quarterly basis, providing regular performance updates to corporate partnerships manager
Planning & Implementation:
* Plan and execute the corporate portfolio strategy to ensure all opportunities are explored to raise funds from corporate ventures, trusts and foundations
* Maintain, plan and monitor fundraising opportunity pipeline within the CRM system to enhance and support the strategic corporate portfolio
* Work with various stakeholders to identify, develop and communicate support channels for the charity
* Develop, monitor and promote an engagement plan to build and maintain relationships
* Responsible for leads and prospect follow-up generated by other channels, support and report activities through the CRM database
* Effectively engage with funders, secure support and grow income from a range of sources
* Nurture and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective funders through good communication and monitoring methods
* Maintain accurate database files relating to the portfolio, develop dashboards and reports and upload all supporter data in a timely manner
* Ensure all funds received are recorded on information management system and that acknowledgement letters are issued in a timely manner
Donor Stewardship & Engagement:
* Develop and execute a donor stewardship plan for corporate partners to ensure consistent engagement and recognition
* Manage relationships with corporate partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and continued support
* Organise events and engagement opportunities to thank corporate donors and demonstrate the impact of their contributions
Reporting and Analysis:
* Maintain accurate records of all corporate fundraising activities and communications in CRM
* Develop and contribute to the forecasting of income and expenditure
* Report against activity metrics in line with departmental and organisational plans
* Liaise with the Fundraising team and volunteers to assist and advise the organisation in the continued development of IGDB’s fundraising strategy
* Awareness of legislation and codes of practice in terms of fundraising and marketing requirements
* Analyse campaigns and events in terms of overall performance and feedback to ensure improvements are actioned
* Provide advice and content for grant and non-grant related funding applications
* Create and promote applications for funding when necessary

Experience, Education and Skills:
* Talented communicator who can inspire support and commitment from a diverse range of stakeholders
* Comfortable in a cold-calling environment with first class interpersonal and influencing skills
* Sales and business development experience in a B2B environment
* High degree of emotional intelligence
* Educated to degree level
* Ability to build and leverage relationships and comfortable within a target driven environment
* Demonstrated understanding of people management, motivations and working styles and requirements
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills with excellent time management
* Excellent Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint knowledge
* Experience of working with online platforms
Desirable Special Conditions:
* Full clean driving licence
* Awareness of trends, patterns and challenges of volunteering in Ireland at a community level
* Knowledge of fundraising landscape in Ireland
* Experience and contacts within charitable corporate community
* Experience of managing multiple tasks and managing time and deadlines
* Business and marketing qualification
