Our client is seeking to recruit a Site Project Manager for projects in the midlands/Galway region. They are a well-established contractor and are currently working on several large multi-million energy upgrade projects. They are looking to recruit an ambitious, career-minded individual that has worked in a similar role previously (Site Manager or Site Project Manager).The responsibilities and requirements will include:
1. 10 years’ experience in site construction
2. Previous experience of working on building or energy upgrade projects.
3. Diploma or Degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar.
4. Candidates with either an engineering or trades background will be considered.
5. You will need to have experience in coordination of subcontractors, control programme with preparation of look-ahead programmes to facilitate the successful completion of the works on time.
6. You must be experienced and fully computer-literate and have proven experience in preparation of progress reports, chairing site meetings.
7. Ability to communicate with Client, Architects, Engineers, is essential.
8. Be fully familiar with current Health and Safety Construction regulations.
9. Immediate start – full time permanent position based in the west of Ireland
10. Ability to work well within a team environment and within a strict deadline environment.
11. Assist with requirements in relation to site preparations & associated consultations and design issues.

14. Preparing project plans
15. Attending site meetings
16. Responsible for health and safety on site
