About Our Hotel
Killaloe is a picturesque tourist town situated in County Clare, known for its fishing and boating activities.
Located approximately 1.2 km from the centre of Killaloe, our hotel overlooks the Kincora Marina with direct access to Lough Derg and The River Shannon.
The Property
We have a substantial modern hotel featuring 35 en-suite bedrooms, lounge, function room, restaurant, and Sionna Spa.
The property offers a commanding view over Lough Derg to the rear and ample car-parking and gardens to the front.
The Role
The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing the operational and financial success of the Food & Beverage function, reporting to the General Manager.
* Supervise and oversee all food and beverage areas in the hotel to relevant standards.
* Support/supervise hotel events to ensure exceptional service at all times.
* Greet guests warmly and cheerfully upon arrival and throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily supervision of the Bar, Restaurant, and C&B operations and personnel.
* A hands-on approach to ensure continuous improvements/upgrades and increase guest satisfaction.
* Liaise with head Chef and sales manager on sales promotions/menus.
Candidate Requirements
Familiarity with the food and beverage industry and management experience in a hotel are essential.
C&B experience and the ability to lead weddings/functions are also required.
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills are necessary for this role.
* Food & beverage conference and banqueting management experience.
* Cashing up experience.
