Responsibilities
1. Adherence to the company’s H&S arrangements and proactively contribute to the maintenance of a safe working environment.
2. Understanding Customer Requirements and ensuring the delivery of first-class customer service.
3. Supervision, training and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, inventory control and other value added activity.
4. Assigning workloads and specific tasks within the Warehouse Team
5. Ensuring the Warehouse Team’s adherence to the Daily/Weekly/Monthly ‘Task Lists’
6. Acting as the main point of contact for all visitors to the warehouse.
7. Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and controls.
8. Monitoring Security within the Warehouse and Yard.
9. Operating the companies Warehouse Management System (PC & Hand Held Scanner)
10. Operating client’s own IT systems.
11. Operating various MHE (Pallet Trucks, Forklift Trucks, etc.)
12. Joining the warehouse ‘on-call’ roster.
13. Provide Holiday/Absence cover when required.
Skills and Experience
14. 3 Years in a Supervisory role in a Warehouse environment.
15. Leaving Cert.
16. Leadership.
17. Communication.
18. Literacy / numeracy.
