Financial Services VAT Manager

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a Global Accountancy firm in Dublin as a Financial Services VAT Manager.


The Role:

* Responsible for VAT issues across a diverse range of clients, including those in the financial services sector.
* Reporting directly to senior management, including tax partners, to provide updates on key projects and initiatives.
* Accountable for the delivery of exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis, building strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
* Responsible for winning new work by identifying opportunities to manage existing clients and acquire new ones, leveraging expertise in financial services VAT to drive success.


The Candidate:

* AITI qualified or holding a similar professional Tax or Accountancy qualification, such as ACCA or CIMA.
* At least 4 years of indirect tax experience, preferably gained within a practice environment.
* Possessing strong technical skills and a willingness to further develop them through training and professional development.
* Able to identify areas of risk and carry out effective review to minimize exposure.
* Client-focused and commercially aware, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
