Quality Control Manager for AML Programme Team
The Quality Control Manager will lead, manage and develop a global team of quality specialists covering the Suspicious Activity Monitoring and Screening programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify significant compliance risks and guide management in developing/reviewing policies, procedures and business practices.
2. Participate in reviewing new regulatory developments and maintain oversight of impacts on business activities.
3. Lead a team of analysts performing investigations on high-risk items.
4. Collaborate in compliance advisory and integration projects, and conduct compliance assessments.
5. Ensure implementation of key processes to meet regulatory frameworks.
6. Work with functional organizations to ensure proper implementation, reporting and change management.
7. Provide assistance on risk assessments and reports to Management on compliance issues.
8. Interface with Product and Engineering teams for system development and represent Compliance in stakeholder meetings.
9. Partner with Business Units, Operations, Technology, Legal and the larger risk community.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in Compliance/AML, risk or assurance functions.
* Proven ability to lead a team.
* Working knowledge of financial institutions, money service businesses and banking compliance in EU.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a matrixed environment and cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Compliance, Risk or Business.
* CAMS Certification or other Compliance certification.
