Automation Engineer - Delta V required for a leading Biotech facility in Co. Cork, Engineering scope, design and support for automation hardware and software upgrade projects, and the implementation of new technologies. Initially a 12 month contract. Please contact Claire Role: Possess a deep understanding of DeltaV control system design in the pharmaceutical industry. Possess a deep understanding of the DeltaV platform Engineering scope, design and support for automation hardware and software upgrade projects, and the implementation of new technologies Technically Lead and oversee the work and work products that the System Integrator produces. Including (but not limited to): technical standards, work processes, Work collaboratively with the System Integrator Engineers and Developers Responsible for supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement by deploying company Six Sigma tools within Automation on projects such as: problem solving, standardization, reducing cycle time, Lean principles within the process. Required to comply with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day-to-day activities and all applicable job functions. Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Requirement: 5+ years DeltaV experience Design and coding experience at EM and batch level Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or computer science Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; Good problem-solving and communication skills Experience with industrial networks/protocols Skills: Automation Engineer DeltaV Design
