About the Role
HSDC is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team at the South Downs Campus. We are looking for a candidate with administrative experience and an understanding of the education sector. As occasional travel to the Havant campus may be required, access to a car or reliable public transport is essential. This is a job share role, and we are looking for someone available to work weekday afternoons.
Responsibilities
* To provide a professional, efficient and welcoming reception service ensuring exceptional customer focused standards are delivered at all times.
* To be an ambassador for HSDC both internally and externally communicating and promoting the vision and direction of the organisation with passion.
* To undertake reception duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of all stakeholders, to ensure a superb customer service experience.
* Ensure customer service queries and issues are resolved to an exceptional standard both promptly and efficiently.
* Transfer outside and internal calls to the appropriate member of staff, taking messages where appropriate. Deal with emergency calls quickly and efficiently.
* Welcome customers in line with the visitor’s policy.
Requirements
* English and Mathematics to at least level 2.
* Customer Service qualification or relevant experience.
* Substantial customer service experience and proven interest in helping customers.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel).
* Experience of being the first port of call for customers, understanding what to do in varied scenarios.
