Sales & Marketing Executive Opportunity at Talbot Collection
The Talbot Hotel Wexford, part of the Talbot Collection, is currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales & Marketing Executive to oversee the day-to-day sales and marketing activities of the Talbot Hotel Wexford, Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, and Newbay House.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager and General Manager, this full-time position involves developing and implementing effective advertising and promotional plans, driving new clients and prospects, and achieving high-profile status for the brand in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy:
o Develop and implement advertising and promotional plans to achieve cost-effectiveness and market penetration.
o Plan and execute sales strategies to drive business growth.
o Profile and engage with new clients and prospects.
o Liaise closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Area General Manager to coordinate sales activities.
* Sales and Business Development:
o Increase overall sales through corporate partnerships and booking agents.
o Achieve sales turnover targets on annual budget figures.
o Collaborate with operating departments and other properties in The Collection to maximize service opportunities.
o Manage RFPs/FIT/Tour Series contracts solicitations accurately and within budget guidelines.
o Monitor brochure stock and maintain accurate records.
o Develop and expand food and beverage business with emphasis on bar/restaurant sales and conference & banqueting.
o Nurture amicable relationships with clients, agencies, and staff.
* Marketing Execution:
o Liaise with Area Sales & Marketing Manager on Marketing Material for Corporate Sales Activity.
o Competently manage and sustain internet/GDS activity.
o Regularly monitor the market and complete competitor analysis to inform target setting.
* Digital Marketing:
o Closely collaborate with the Area Sales & Marketing Manager to update corporate content on websites.
o Support digital marketing efforts to maintain an effective online presence.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
