We're looking for a motivated Medical Sales Representative to join our team and play a vital role in promoting our specialized medical products to hospitals and health boards in Leinster and Northern Ireland. As a key member of our sales force, you'll be responsible for driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and implementing innovative strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of a successful sales function that increases product penetration in their designated areas. This is a full-time hybrid role involving some work from home.
Meditec Medical, a wholly Irish owned manufacturing company, with headquarters in Dublin, has been designing, manufacturing, and delivering cutting edge technology in the area of pressure relief mattresses, and patient support surfaces. We are driven to the provision of products, supported by clinical evidence, in order that the healthcare professional can enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote and sell our range of specialist medical products to healthcare institutions in Ireland.
2. Achieve growth and market share targets by cultivating relationships with key customers.
3. Develop and execute a key account strategy for your territory.
4. Manage your territory efficiently to maximize sales performance.
5. Maintain accurate records of territory activities and customer information.
6. Collaborate with Customer Service and other departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
1. Minimum five years experience in sales / business development.
2. Proven track record in achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
3. Experience developing and implementing sales strategies.
4. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
7. Strong customer focus and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
8. Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications.
9. Ability to travel within Northern Ireland & Ireland.
10. Desire to contribute to a progressive organization and be part of a dynamic team.
11. Experience in the medical industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
