Our client is an international insurance company in Dublin and is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their team initially on a 12 month contract but with the likelihood of being made permanent.
The role is based in their Dublin city centre office and offers flexible hybrid working.
Job details:
* Setting up and running a quarterly reporting cycle
* Preparing and reviewing consolidation templates and schedules
* Supporting business units through the reporting process
* Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts
* Improving the financial reporting process
* Supporting the design and maintenance of a Group Compliance and Internal Controls Framework
* Contributing to various projects to enhance the consolidation process
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, or ACCA)
* Consolidations experience advantageous
* Experience in the insurance industry preferred
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage projects
Salary:
* €70,000 - €80,000
* 10% completion Bonus
* Hybrid working - very flexible
