Role Overview
The role of Transaction Services/C Corporate Finance Director is a pivotal position that offers an exceptional opportunity to gain top-quality corporate finance experience in a business that values its people.
This business has an excellent deal flow, and it is anticipated that the upcoming year will be another successful one, with particularly strong inbound deal flow from both the international network and the domestic market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysis and modelling of financial performance (past and future) of an acquisition target
* Responsibility for delivery of mid-size complex projects or responsibility for standalone divisions/sections of FDD on larger projects (this will include buy or sell-side, refinancing, financial restructuring, and equity raising transactions)
* Direct communication with clients on key issues relating to the engagement
* Direct communication and liaison with M&A bankers, commercial advisors, lawyers, financing providers, and other relevant parties to the M&A process on appropriate presentation and impact of diligence findings
* Supervision and mentoring of a team and supporting their learning and development
Business Development:
* Regular client catch-ups
* Identification of target opportunities
* Keeping up-to-date with industry and M&A developments in the market
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous significant transaction services consulting experience working within a Top 4/Top 20 firm
* Relevant transaction services experience, consulting either with private equity or mid-market businesses
* Transaction experience including financial and vendor due diligence, M&A
* Experience in identification of key deal financial and commercial issues
* Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of large complex, multi-geography transactions
* Presentation of findings to senior stakeholders, including PE investors and lenders
* Assisting with transaction negotiations with lawyers and investment bankers across EMEA and globally
Requirements:
