The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Service Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily management of field operations, ensuring efficient pallet delivery, retrieval, and maintenance processes. You will collaborate closely with senior management and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of field service management within the pallet pooling industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in field service management or logistics, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. You should be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring efficiency across all operations. A customer-first mindset is essential, with a focus on maintaining high standards of operational excellence in every aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
* Manage local team of 9 Field Service Executives across the UK and Ireland.
* Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve under-performing chains.
* Optimise visit plans and ensure quality reporting.
* Support the team in addressing key issues.
Drop Point Management
* Oversee drop point management and visits to high-risk areas to improve asset use, recovery rates, and reduce loss.
* Develop and execute action plans with the Field Service team.
* Increase collection rates and prevent asset misuse.
* Maintain relationships with chain head offices to enhance performance.
* Present monthly asset review reports.
Inventory Management
* Ensure timely inventory completion and support FSEs.
* Follow action plans for accurate pallet recovery and asset loss data.
