Job Title: Chef de Partie
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Gourmet Food Parlour in Dunshaughlin. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Prepare food to standard recipes and/or customized to meet our customers' requirements.
* Team Management: Assist head chef and sous chef in training, coaching, and development of the kitchen team.
* Communication: Engage with and understand our management and floor team and respond to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
* Stock Control: Have knowledge of ordering, stock control, and menu costs.
* KPIs and Team Management: Has some knowledge of working to KPIs and managing a team.
* HACCP and Food Hygiene: Has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
* Language Skills: Fluent in English - spoken and written.
Requirements:
* HACCP Training: HACCP trained to level 2 minimum.
* Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
* Flexible Working Hours: Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* Dress Code and Personal Hygiene: Comply with a strict dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines.
