About Your New Employer
As an Audit Manager with our organisation, you will be working in the public sector.
The role can be based in any of our offices in Leinster on a hybrid basis, allowing for a mix of remote and office work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering the operational aspects of the Audit Plan to provide assurance across all programmes to relevant government partners.
* Generating evidence-based data from the operational delivery of the audit plan.
* Developing in-depth knowledge of and staying up-to-date with various government scheme/programme rules and requirements.
* Reviewing, approving, and finalising all audit/verification reports compiled by auditors prior to issue.
* Ensuring quality assurance measures are implemented to ensure high-quality work output from auditors.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA etc).
* Previous management experience, ideally within audit.
* Internal Audit experience is highly regarded.
* Willingness to travel to regional offices when needed.
* Unrestricted work rights in Ireland (sponsorship not offered).
