We would like to invite applications for the role of Product Development Researcher (Materials) at our Waterford Site-Perm position.

A day in the life of our Product Development Researcher (Materials)
1. Evaluate techniques to aide and de-risk drug product development efforts.
2. Execute method development and validations to timely and successful completion while harnessing good communication within the team and with other departments.
3. Functional assessment of products to contribute to setting quality target product profile (QTPP), specifications and material controls.
4. Support drug product bioequivalence assessments, inclusive of novel alternative strategies, for the identification of critical quality attributes of the drug product.
5. Use of risk management techniques, Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DoE) to assess strategies and de-risk product development.
6. Deliver high levels of customer service (both internal & external) and develop professional relationships across multiple departments within the business function.
7. Identifying innovative methodologies and conducting literature research to support material characterisation and structural interrogation of aerosols.
8. Developing and maintaining professional relationships within the business function and leading interactions with raw material vendors.
Who we are looking for
Are you...
1. Experienced in materials characterisation and/or analytical method development.
2. Knowledgeable in development of analytical methods for materials characterisation.
3. Able to work as a flexible member of a project team (quality orientated, aware of tight deadlines).
Do you have…
1. Degree or Masters Level in a related subject.
2. Experience in MDRS (as a benefit).
3. Knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements and regulatory submissions (as a benefit).
4. High level planning & organising skills & adaptability to changing priorities.
5. Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced, dynamic technical environment.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as computer skills.
