Job Title: Legal Secretary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Secretary to join our dedicated team at a reputable law firm based in Wicklow. In this role, you will provide essential support to solicitors handling sensitive cases, ensuring the smooth running of legal proceedings.
About the Role:
* Providing essential administrative and secretarial support to a team of legal partners
* Managing busy calendars, handling correspondence, and performing general office duties
* Drafting and editing legal documents, including letters, contracts, and briefs following a high standard and tight deadlines
* Maintaining organized case files (physical and electronic), tracking key dates, and managing evidence
* Preparing reports and drafting communications
* Liaising with clients, court staff, and other external parties
* Supporting with dictaphone and copy typing
* Providing general office administration tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and scanning
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary
* Litigation/Medical Negligence experience a bonus
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
