Co-Op Superstores are seeking to hire a Retail Branch Manager based in Garryspillane Co-op Superstores.
This is an Agri Branch and Agricultural Knowledge is essential for the role.
This a 39 hour per week role revolved around branch opening hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:15 pm (Closed for Lunch 1 - 2 pm) Sat: 8:30am 1 - pm.
About Dairygold/Our Story Co-Op Superstores is the retail division of Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd which now operates 26 retail stores across Munster stretching across counties Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, and Clare.

Role Profile/About the Opportunity With a focus on community and support network behind them, our employees feel confident and motivated to challenge themselves and grow with the business.
The successful candidate will have: A proven track record in Retail Management with strong people management experience.
Knowledge or background of the agriculture and farming industry.
Management qualification or similar business qualification advantageous.
Understanding of key relevant product categories including agri inputs, builders providers, plumbing, electrical & DIY.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with a proven ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues & stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead & obtain results through teamwork & employee engagement.
Strong organisational, planning & time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient IT / systems skills including MS Office suite & Point of Sale (POS).
Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead a motivated, engaged & enabled team, ensuring team members are fully trained, competent and developed in their roles.
Control and analyse sales performance for each department / category against budget so that store targets and key performance indicators are met and exceeded.
Deliver on our commitment to excellence in customer experience.
Lead a safety-first culture, improve & maintain site safety in line with best practice, quickly identify & resolve safety hazards & observe site safety governance.
Ensure compliance with all company policies & procedures, legislative requirements and audit standards.
Monitor & manage business administration as required, including stock management, cash control, wage costs, budgets and profit and loss.
Any other activities, as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.
