Order of Malta Ireland
We're seeking a Senior Administrator to provide essential administrative services and support to the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps members nationwide. This is an in-person role (may be some flexibility to work from home on an ad hoc basis), and the individual will report directly to the CEO of Order of Malta Ireland.
Responsibilities
Administration
* Maintaining and updating the membership database, including membership information, insurance requirements, training and skills development, awards, and other certifications.
* Providing administrative support to the organisation’s Ambulance Corps Leadership Team.
* Fulfilling FOI and GDPR requests.
* Overseeing the management of the organisation’s fleet of emergency vehicles, including processing insurance and tax certificates.
* Serving as the first point of contact for all members of the organisation to address queries at local, regional, and national levels.
* Providing support for relevant member events.
* Keeping a secure record of relevant medical issues.
* Assisting in Garda Vetting processes as required.
* Ad hoc projects as they arise.
Stakeholder Management
* Provide support to the youth section of the organisation, known as the Order of Malta Cadets.
* Act as the first point of contact for key clients and other stakeholders.
Person specification
* A relevant third level degree and/or professional qualification is desirable.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar organisation, experience within the not for profit sector is an advantage.
* Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work well in a team and as part of the wider team.
* Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to create engaging content.
* A motivated self-starter approach to your work.
* Excellent communications skills with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude
